Forest mathematics # 1
A thread and a knot are the optimal combination. A tree is defined as what is within working height. Angles are approximate: above or below 180 degrees. Fingers get cold. No bears are observed. The movement is spiral. All trees are included in the path. The thread never crosses itself. The area is defined by its length. It is a little more than 100 metres long. It counts a little more than 100 metres of trees. It is perfect weather for forest mathematics.

Forest mathematics # 2
Counting trees with a stick, a winter-counting version, together with the sound-artist and field recordist BJ Nilsen. Crossing a little island on the lake of Lille Sameti. It is an extremely silent day with fog and high humidity surrounding the trees. Another perfect day for forest mathematics.
