Forest mathematics

Kajsa Møllersen explores various tree counting methods in the forest. A thread and a knot are the optimal combination. A tree is defined as what is within working height. Angles are approximate: above or below 180 degrees. Fingers get cold. No bears are observed. The movement is spiral. All trees are included in the path. The tau never crosses itself. The area is defined by its length. It is a little more than 100 metres long. It counts a little more than 100 metres of trees. It is perfect weather for forest mathematics.
